Job Description
As an Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP), assess emergency scenes and patients, provide advanced emergency medical care, transport ill or injured individuals, operate ambulances and transport vehicles, administer medications, use advanced life support airway adjuncts, deliver electrical therapy, and lead ALS teams during patient care. Responsible for ensuring emergency vehicles and equipment are stocked, maintained, and operational. Role involves working in challenging environments including remote locations, adverse weather, hazardous scenes, exposure to bodily fluids, and physically demanding patient handling activities. Position based out of Grande Prairie Hub supporting Grande Prairie, Beaverlodge, Fox Creek, Grande Cache, Spirit River and Valleyview sites.
