Job Description
As an Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) with ALTA Paramedic Health (APH), assess emergency scenes and patients, provide advanced emergency medical care, transport ill or injured individuals, operate ambulances and transport vehicles, administer medications, use advanced life support (ALS) airway adjuncts, deliver electrical therapy, and lead ALS teams during emergency care. Responsible for maintaining ambulance readiness, equipment standards, and safe patient transport according to APH standards. Role requires working in challenging environments including adverse weather, remote locations, hazardous scenes, exposure to bodily fluids, and physically demanding patient handling including lifting and transferring up to 105 lbs. Position based at High Prairie Health Complex, High Prairie, Alberta.
