Job Description
As an Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP), provides emergency medical care by assessing emergency scenes and patients, transporting ill or injured individuals, operating ambulances and other transport vehicles, administering medications, using advanced life support airway adjuncts, delivering electrical therapy, and leading ALS teams during patient care. Responsible for ensuring emergency vehicles and equipment are stocked, maintained, and ready according to established standards. Position requires working in various weather conditions, remote locations, hazardous environments, and physically demanding situations including lifting and transferring patients and equipment. Based out of Slave Lake Hub supporting Slave Lake, High Prairie, Swan Hills, and Wabasca sites.
