Job Description
Wainwright Health Centre is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide patient and family centered care within acute care, emergency and labour/delivery settings. The LPN works as part of an interprofessional healthcare team utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills while practicing within education, experience, scope of practice and AHS policies. The position provides opportunities to rotate through acute care, emergency and obstetrics areas, develop nursing skills and deliver safe quality care in a multidisciplinary environment. Requires completion of accredited practical nurse education program, active CLPNA registration and current BCLS-HCP certification.
