Job Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides compassionate, resident-centered care within a Type A continuing care facility. Working as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team, the LPN applies nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving and clinical decision-making skills to provide safe, high-quality patient and family-centered care. Responsibilities include supporting residents with dignity, comfort and connection while following professional standards, legislation, policies and procedures. Requires completion of an accredited practical nursing program, active registration with CLHA, BCLS-HCP certification, minimum one year LTC experience within the last 2-4 years, Connect Care experience and strong communication skills.
