Job Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is part of an interprofessional health care team providing safe, high-quality patient and family-centred care while utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills. The LPN works within legislation, standards of practice, policies and procedures and supports long-term care residents at Willow Square Continuing Care Centre in Fort McMurray. Responsibilities include clinical assessment, leadership, supporting HCAs, Medication Assistance Program (MAP), dementia care, collaborative care, resident-focused care, palliative care support and working to full scope of LPN practice.
Benefits
Fort McMurray Allowance up to $12,480 annually (non-pensionable, paid hourly on basic rate of pay).
