Job Description
Nurse Practitioner providing comprehensive health services to Family Medicine patients at Westview Health Centre in collaboration with the admitting physician. Responsible for assessing, diagnosing, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing treatment and performing procedures across the lifespan. Utilizes advanced practice nursing competencies in clinical practice, leadership, health-system optimization, education and research to improve care quality and appropriate use of health services. Requires approved Nurse Practitioner program with minimum Master's degree, active CRNA registration on the Nurse Practitioner Registrar including Provisional Graduate Nurse Practitioner licensure, and current BCLS-HCP certification.
