Job Description
As a Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) with Emergency Health Services, assesses emergency scenes and patients, provides patient care, transports ill or injured individuals, operates ambulances and transport vehicles, administers minor medications, uses basic life support airway adjuncts and provides semi-automated defibrillation. Supports BLS crew leadership, maintains ambulance readiness and equipment standards. Role requires working in challenging environments including adverse weather, remote locations, hazardous scenes and physically demanding situations involving lifting, carrying, kneeling and prolonged physical activity.
