Job Description
As a Primary Care Paramedic (PCP), assess emergency scenes and patients, provide emergency medical care, transport ill or injured patients, operate ambulances and other transport vehicles, administer minor medications, provide BLS airway support and semi-automated defibrillation. Lead BLS crews during patient care, maintain ambulance equipment standards, and work in challenging environments including remote locations, adverse weather, hazardous scenes and physically demanding situations requiring lifting, carrying, and patient transfers. Position based out of Grande Prairie Hub supporting Grande Prairie, Beaverlodge, Fox Creek, Grande Cache, Spirit River and Valleyview sites.
