Job Description
As a Primary Care Paramedic (PCP), provides emergency medical care by assessing emergency scenes and patients, transporting ill or injured patients between emergency scenes and facilities, operating ambulances and other transport vehicles, administering minor medications, using basic life support (BLS) airway adjuncts, providing semi-automated defibrillation, and leading BLS crews during patient care. Ensures ambulances and transport vehicles are properly stocked and equipped according to established standards. Position based at Valleyview EMS supporting emergency services in Valleyview, Alberta. Requires ability to work in demanding environments including extreme weather, remote locations, hazardous scenes, and physically demanding patient handling activities.
