Job Description
The Site Manager provides leadership to an interdisciplinary healthcare team delivering patient-centered care at Drayton Valley Hospital and Care Centre. Responsibilities include overseeing Acute Care, Emergency Department, and Endoscopy operations; managing clinical and operational activities; staffing, scheduling, patient flow, discharge planning, quality assurance, risk management, budget monitoring, and continuous quality improvement. The role supports organizational goals through leadership, change management, team development, stakeholder collaboration, and operational oversight while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality healthcare services. Requires a post-secondary degree in a health profession, health administration, leadership, or related discipline, registration with an Alberta regulated health profession where applicable, and a minimum of one year of progressive management experience. Healthcare management experience, HR experience, rural acute care knowledge, and Connect Care experience are preferred.
